Data protection 

Data protection is very important to us. The processing of personal data, e.g. name, address, e-mail address or telephone number, always takes place in accordance with the legal requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation and in accordance with the legal, country-specific data protection regulations applicable to us. By means of this data protection declaration, we inform you about the type, scope and purpose of the personal data we collect, use and process. 

We note that despite the highest security precautions on our part, there may be security gaps in Internet-based data transmission. We cannot guarantee complete protection either.

2. Collection of general data, disclosure of data 

Our website collects general data and information when you visit it. This general data and information is stored in the log files of the server. can be recorded here  

  • the browser type and version used, 

  • the operating system used by the accessing system,  

  • the website from which an accessing system accesses our website, 

  • the date and time of access to our website, 

  • the IP address, 

  • the internet service provider of the accessing system 

  • other data and information used to avert danger in the event of attacks on our information technology systems. 

When using these general data and information, we do not draw any conclusions about the data subject. Rather, this information is required to deliver the content of our website correctly, to optimize its content and advertising for it, to ensure the long-term functionality of our IT systems and the technology of our website, and to provide law enforcement authorities with the necessary criminal prosecution in the event of a cyber attack provide information. 

This anonymously collected data and information is evaluated by us statistically and also with the aim of increasing data protection and data security in our company in order to ultimately ensure an optimal level of protection for the personal data we process. The anonymous data of the server log files are stored separately from all personal data provided by an affected person. 

Your personal data will not be transmitted to third parties for purposes other than those listed below. 

We only pass on your personal data to third parties if:  

  • you have given your express consent to this (cf. Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. a GDPR),  

  • the disclosure is necessary to assert, exercise or defend legal claims and there is no reason to assume that you have an overriding legitimate interest in the non-disclosure of your data (cf. Art. 6 Para. 1 Sentence 1 lit. f GDPR), 

  • in the event that there is a legal obligation for the transfer (see Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. c GDPR), 

  • the transfer is legally permissible and necessary for the processing of contractual relationships with you (cf. Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. b DSGVO).

  1. Type, scope and purpose of data processing 

We use cookies. Cookies are small files that are sent to the browser of your end device and stored there when you visit our website. 

Some functions of our website cannot be offered without the use of technically necessary cookies. Other cookies, on the other hand, enable us to carry out various analyses. Some cookies can recognize the browser you are using when you visit our website again and transmit various information to us. We use cookies to facilitate and improve the use of our website. For example, we can use cookies to make our website more user-friendly and effective for you, for example by understanding how you use our website and determining your preferred settings (e.g. country and language settings). Third Party Cookies 

We use analytical cookies to monitor anonymous user behavior on our website. 

We also use advertising cookies. These cookies allow user behavior to be tracked for advertising and targeted marketing purposes. 

Social media cookies make it possible to connect to your social networks and share content from our website within your networks. 

Configuration of browser settings 

Most web browsers are preset to automatically accept cookies. However, you can configure your browser in such a way that it only accepts certain cookies or no cookies at all. However, we would like to point out that you may then no longer be able to use all the functions of our website.

Due to the purposes described, the legal basis for the processing of personal data using cookies is Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. f) GDPR. Only those cookies that are technically necessary to enable you to use the website can be based on this. 

If you have given us your consent to the use of cookies on the basis of a notice (“cookie banner”) provided by us on the website, the legal basis is also Article 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. a) GDPR. This is required for cookies that make it possible to analyze your usage behavior and place appropriate advertising.

As soon as the data transmitted to us via the cookies is no longer required for the purposes described above, this information will be deleted. Further storage can take place in individual cases if this is required by law.

4. Registration and contact on our website 

You have the option of registering on our website by providing personal data or contacting us. Which personal data is transmitted to us results from the respective input mask that you use for registration (e.g. in the contact form). 

The personal data you enter here will only be collected and stored for our own purposes. We can arrange for the data to be passed on to one or more processors, e.g. transport companies, who in turn may and does use the data exclusively for their own internal use. 

By registering on our website, the IP address assigned to you, the date and time of registration are saved. This data is stored against the background that this is the only way to prevent misuse. In this respect, the storage of this data is necessary for security for both sides. In principle, this data will not be passed on to third parties unless there is a legal obligation to pass it on or the passing on is for criminal prosecution. 

The registration of the data subject, with the voluntary provision of personal data, enables the data controller to offer the data subject content or services that, due to the nature of the matter, can only be offered to registered users. Registered persons are free to change the personal data provided during registration at any time or to have it completely deleted from our database. 

Upon request, we will provide every data subject with information about which personal data is stored about the data subject at any time. Furthermore, we correct or delete personal data at the request or notice of the person concerned, provided that there are no legal storage requirements to the contrary. Our contact information for your message in this regard can be found under point 1 of this declaration. 

If you contact us by e-mail or via the contact form, the personal data you provide will be saved automatically. Such personal data transmitted to us by you on a voluntary basis will be stored for the purpose of processing or contacting the person concerned. This personal data will not be passed on to third parties.  

​ The legal basis for this is Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit b) GDPR. If you have given your consent, the additional legal basis is Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. a) GDPR (voluntary information).  

 

5. Routine Deletion and Blocking of Personal Data 

We process and store personal data only for the period necessary to achieve the storage purpose pursued or if this is prescribed by the legislator in the laws or regulations relevant to us. 

If the purpose of storage no longer applies or if a legally prescribed storage period expires, the personal data will be blocked or deleted in accordance with the statutory provisions.

6. Rights of data subjects 

Affected persons within the meaning of data protection law have the right  

  • to request information about your personal data processed by us in accordance with Art. 15 GDPR. In particular, you can obtain information about the processing purposes, the category of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data has been or will be disclosed, the planned storage period, the existence of a right to correction, deletion, restriction of processing or objection, the existence of a Right to complain, the origin of your data, if not collected from us, and the existence of automated decision-making including profiling and, if necessary, meaningful information about their details; 

  • in accordance with Art. 16 GDPR, to immediately request the correction of incorrect or incomplete personal data stored by us; 

  • According to Art. 17 GDPR, to request the deletion (right to be forgotten) of your personal data stored by us, unless the processing is necessary to exercise the right to freedom of expression and information, to fulfill a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or to assert , exercise or defense of legal claims is required 

  • According to Art. 18 GDPR, to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data, insofar as you dispute the accuracy of the data, the processing is unlawful, but you refuse to delete it and we no longer need the data, but you use them to assert, exercise or defense of legal claims or you have objected to the processing pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR; 

  • in accordance with Art. 20 GDPR, to receive your personal data that you have provided to us in a structured, common and machine-readable format or to request transmission to another person responsible;  

  • pursuant to Art. 7 Para. 3 GDPR, to revoke the consent you have given to us at any time. As a result, we will no longer continue the data processing based on this consent for the future; 

  • if your personal data is processed by us on the basis of legitimate interests in accordance with Article 6 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 lit Your particular situation arise or the objection is directed against direct advertising. In the latter case, you have a general right to object, which we will implement without specifying a particular situation. An e-mail to the e-mail address given under point 1 of this declaration is sufficient for this; 

  • pursuant to Art. 77 GDPR to complain to a supervisory authority, without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy. As a rule, you can contact the supervisory authority of your usual place of residence.

7. Data Security 

We use the widespread SSL method (Secure Socket Layer) in connection with the highest level of encryption supported by your browser. You can tell whether an individual page of our website is being transmitted in encrypted form by the closed representation of the key or lock symbol in the lower status bar of your browser. 

We also use appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against manipulation, misuse, partial or complete loss, or against unauthorized access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously updated in line with technological developments.

8. Legal basis of processing 

Art. 6 I lit. a GDPR serves as the legal basis for processing operations for which we obtain consent for a specific processing purpose. 

If the processing of personal data is necessary to fulfill a contract to which the data subject is a party, as is the case, for example, with processing operations that are necessary to process an order for goods, the processing is based on Article 6 I lit. b GDPR . The same applies to such processing operations that are necessary to carry out measures, for example in the case of inquiries from interested parties about our products, offers or services. 

If we are subject to a legal obligation which requires the processing of personal data, such as for the fulfillment of tax obligations, the processing is based on Art. 6 I lit. c GDPR. 

Ultimately, processing operations could be based on Art. 6 I lit. f GDPR. Processing operations that are not covered by any of the aforementioned legal bases are based on this legal basis if processing is necessary to safeguard a legitimate interest of our company or a third party, provided that these interests do not override your fundamental rights and fundamental freedoms. Such processing operations are permitted to us in particular because they have been specifically mentioned by the European legislator. In this respect, he took the view that a legitimate interest could be assumed if the data subject is a customer of the person responsible (cf. Recital 47 Sentence 2 GDPR).

9. Duration of Data Storage 

The criterion for the duration of the storage of personal data is the statutory retention period. After this period has expired, the personal data will be routinely deleted if they are no longer required to fulfill or initiate a contract.

11. Web Analysis, Monitoring and Optimization 

Google Analytics 

Our website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics. The provider of the web analysis service is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. 

Google Analytics uses "cookies." These are small text files that your web browser stores on your end device and enable analysis of website usage. Information generated by cookies about your use of our website is transmitted to a Google server and stored there. Server location is usually the USA. 

Google Analytics cookies are set on the basis of Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR. As the operator of this website, we have a legitimate interest in analyzing user behavior in order to optimize our website and, if necessary, advertising. 

IP anonymization 

We use Google Analytics in connection with the IP anonymization function. It ensures that Google shortens your IP address within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area before it is transmitted to the USA. There may be exceptional cases in which Google transmits the full IP address to a server in the USA and shortens it there. On our behalf, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to create reports on website activity and to provide us with other services related to website activity and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data.

In order to fully comply with the legal data protection requirements, we have concluded an order processing contract with Google. 

Demographic characteristics in Google Analytics 

Our website uses the "demographic characteristics" function of Google Analytics. It can be used to create reports that contain statements about the age, gender and interests of the site visitors. This data comes from interest-based advertising from Google and visitor data from third-party providers. It is not possible to assign the data to a specific person. You can deactivate this function at any time.
